Our Pastor and First Lady
- Rev. Clifford H. Readout, Jr:
-
Rev. Clifford H. Readout, Jr. is an ordained minister in the United
Pentecostal Church International and has been Pastor of the Apostolic
Church of Enfield since December 30, 1978. He also serves as
a District Superintendent for Connecticut,
elected in 2000. He served the Connecticut District UPCI as
Foreign Missionary Director for nineteen years. Rev. Readout
is internationally respected as a Bible teacher, ministering throughout
the United States and in over fifty nations from Australia to Iceland.
He has ministered extensively on college and university campuses,
holding positions of President and Chaplain at Indiana University
as well as Director of Campus Ministry for North Central Region of
the USA and Canada. He was also the Founding Coordinator of
Friendship International, a ministry to college and university students
around the world, and serves currently as Special Advisor.
Rev. Readout was Director, Dean of Students, and a teacher in the
European School of Discipleship in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
He is the Founder and Director of the Foundations of Life Worldwide
Ministry and The Foundations Forum, a Biblical "think tank" and research
organization. He is Secretary and member of the Board of Trustees
for the Urshan Graduate
School of Theology. Rev. Readout is chairman of the Apostolic
Leadership Institute and is a "Genuine
AllExperts Expert" volunteer, rated "Best of the Best." Rev.
Readout is proud to be husband to the same wonderful lady since 1970,
father of three college graduates, and one delightful Down Syndrome
son born in 1994.
- Rev. Peggy E. Readout:

Rev. Peggy Readout is a general licensed minister in the United
Pentecostal Church International. She serves as Executive Assistant
for and wife of the pastor of The Apostolic Church of Enfield, CT.
Sis. Readout is our local Ladies Ministries President as well as Ladies
Ministries President for Connecticut.
She was the local Sunday School Director for 18 years, taught the
Preschool Sunday School class for 7 years and the Teen and Youth classes
for 5 years. Before moving to Connecticut, Sis. Readout was the Pastor's
confidential secretary at the East 16th Street Pentecostal Assembly
in Indiana, and also worked in the church's day care center there.
She was involved in Campus Ministry work at Indiana University and
was an instructor and staff member in the European School of Discipleship
in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Sis. Readout has ministered in many foreign
missions fields and several churches in the United States. She has
authored articles for the Pentecostal
Herald and Reflections
Magazine and publishes the Women
In Touch Communique for the Ladies
Ministries UPCI. Sis. Readout is also an instructor at the Apostolic Leadership Institute
and has performed every ministry required
for the success of this congregation while raising four children who are all active members of the church today.
